This web site was created for the cats that are
still roaming in Lakeview since Hurricane Katrina. Kathy
Sweeney and Jeanette Althans coordinate the feeding, trapping, and
reunion efforts. The Remote Reunion Campaign, ARNO (Animal
Rescue New Orleans), Kinship
Circle and others provide assistance with various items.

Foster and
Forever Homes desperately needed!!!
Many adult cats have been forgotten and are still
living on the streets of Lakeview since Hurricane Katrina.
Several of these cats are very friendly and need a forever home.
Additionally, there are many very young kittens
living in the devastated areas of Lakeview. These kittens
deserve a forever home, so they will not grow up living in back
alleys searching for food.
